Tlio Daily Telegraph commenting on the i - aco states that credit for the fast paeo set is due to Wiinmera, who ran .a really great race. The New Zealand horse was never really headed until the last fence. Tt was folly on the part of O'Neill, Winnnera's rider, to allow the horse to run himself to a standstill. Tt was apparent that had lie nursed Winvmera, TTxbridgc would have been set a task which be might not have proved equal to.
