SCAFFOLD COLLAPSES
DISTRESSING ACCIDENT IN A POWER STATION. (Received August 3, 10.45 a.m.) BERLIN, August 2. An iron scaffolding in an engineroom in the power station at Nuremberg collapsed. Ten bodies were extricated, and thirty-five were injured. Five workmen are missing. Troops are clearing the'debris.

BERLIN, August 3. One hundred *md. ten workmen were buried "for a number of minutes.
Forty remained penned down by immense girders till rescued. No erano was strong enough to immediately lift the debris. Tlie death toll is eleven. Four :mn i.ra sfi'll missing.
