THE LATE MIKADO
ARRANGEMENTS FOR FUNERAL
NEW EMPEROR IN DEEPEST MOURNING.
(Received Last Night, 11 o'clock.)
TOKIO, July 31. The interment of the late Mikado will take place at Kyoto. The new Emperor, after many quaint accession ceremonies, has retired to the Aoyama Palace for five days, and will observe the deepest mourning.
The Coronation of the New Emperor will take place at Kyoto in 1913. King George has condoned with the new monarch.
The British Ambassador has conveyed Sir Edlward Groy's and the British Government's expressions of their deepest sorrow.
