THE FERRY SERVICE
MISHAP TO THE MARAROA(By Telegraph — Press Association.) CHRISTOHUROH, Last Night. To-day a flaw was discovered in the s.s. Mararoa's thrust shaft, and she wHU consequently be unable to make liea- usual trip to Wellington to-night. As no other vessel is available, tonight'is ferry trip from Lyttelton will be abandoned. It is understood that advantage will be ta.ken of the mishap to send the Mararoa to Dnnedin for her annual overhaul, which is now aikwt due.
