HOSPITAL FOR EKETAHUNA.
rue residents' of Eket.ihuna are to be commenced upon the energy they are displaying in the matter of securing a hospital for' their district. It womld be well, however, before tho canvass for funds is further pursued, if the opinion of the Inspeetor-Ge'enra! of Hospitals and of the District Hospital Board were obtained upon the subject. Wie have (reason, to think that Dr Va-liiitin'e is strongly eppoyad to the erection of a hospital at Eketahuna. If this be so, and his advice is taken by the Hospital Board, as it probably will' be, it is wastJng energy to proceed further with the .Eketahuna project.
