TIMARU, Lbfet Night. Tlie Education Board to-c?ay deplored the .shortage of teachers. Having three times advertised three as-sistant-ships in country school it decide cf. to advertise once more before ■appdaling to <tihe Department. One memlber suggested thfcit there would be plenty of teachers available after the next 'Holidays at the Training; Colleges. Another said tihat in many oases pupil teachers ,wc<nt to college, and no more wWs 'healrd of them. Mir Martin' ~ of Wariganui, tvikes up the ditties ,of agricultural instructor for the district oni list •Septembeir.
