UNIONISTS AND NON-UNEON-ISTS.
WHARF LABOURERS REFUSE TO WORK.

SYDNEY ,July 15. r l!ie wharf labourers at several wharves have refused to work .with Won-unionist tally clerks. The difficulty was overcome iby the substitution of unionist clerks. It is significant 'that a request was recently made to "the Shipping Companies and Stevedores Association by the Clerks' Union, for a conference to discuss wages and conditions of work. It ia stated ithat if a conference is not dim the .meantime ©ranted, a mass imeetd'nig twill .be ihdld on Sunday to discuss tbe situation. The clerks claim to have the support of ithe .Water-front Unions.
