AND VIOLENT THUNDERSTORMS

LONDON, July 14
Excessive heat is being experienced in the south and eastern counties. The thermometer registered 88 degrees in the shade in London. There have been violent thunderstorms in the 31.i<31aaid ■Cbunties. Two persons were killed by lightning.
PARIS, July 13.
A heat wave at present prevails, the thermometer registering 95 in the shade in the city.
