Mastertf/n playgoera are. to have an opportunity, of witir.ossiing one of the finest Minstrel 1 " and Vaudeville combinations ever seen in Masterton. Tito English and American Minstrel and Vaudeville Company will open a three night*' season at the Town Hall, commencing on July loth. The Company ha.s just eomploted a very successful seastim of .eight nights at the Opera House, Pa'lmerston North, and no fewer tlmn. 10,500 paid for admission to witness this great entertainmerJt. The Company consists of sixteen English and America,™ artists, including •audi we.ll known, performers as Miss Ada Fields, charming English eerio a'nd dancer fllate Alan Doone Co.); MrCfliarles Archoe, one of America's foremost coloured comedians and ragtime dancers; Miss Belle, dashing isoubirette and cam impersonator; Miss Lena Gambier, ,serib and danger; Mr Pat Reese, America's comedy king and eccentric comedian; Mies Von end ma u. and expert dancer; the Musical Marrn'ons, The Scott Brothers, patter comedians; Reeves and Boaie, 'comedy sketch artists and laughermakers, and many iotlrers. The star ■act is that of Gardiner and Le-Mar, the world's greatest jiu-jitsu experts, Mho.will ■present their great and sensational' 'original novelty act 'entitled "The Hooligan and ,the"Lady." Of this act the New Zealand Times says:
