LONDON, July 10. England won the Test Match with South Africa by 174 runs. _ The weather was dull and the wicket easy when piny was resumed. The attendance was small. The not-out batsmen, Tancrcd (6b) and Pegler (12) faced the bowling oi Barnes and Foster. Tanered succumbed to the fifth ball of the first over. Peeler and Garter made a plucky stand. Hcarnc replaced Foster when the score had reached 148, and Pegler was bowled in the newcomer's second over. Carter was bowled in the next ■ over, the innings closing for 109 runs. Scores: —
