PALMERSTON N., Last Night
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows on their Palmerston North stock sale held to-day: —We had a small yarding of both cattle and sheep, which sold at the following prices : —Empty ewes, !)s 8d ; aged ewes in lamb, 8s 8d ; rams, 7s 6d ; forward bullocks, £6 15s 6d; 2-year steers, £4 17s; fat cows, £4 10s to £o Is; empty cows, 32s 6d to £2 19s; cows and calves, £3 12s 6d ; dairy cotvs £4 to £5.
