PALMERSTON N., Last Night
The Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce has received 215 replies from other chambers and local bodies, etc., to its circular resolution,,approving'of the Hon. A. M. Myers attitude in regard to compulsory service. One hundred and ninety-three endorsed the Palmerston Chamber's view, 22 .passed no resolution, and none passed any resolution against compulsory training.
