MINISTER
(By Tele-graph—Tress Association.)
DANNEYTRKE; Last Night. A publsi.- medting was held at Norsewood to urge the Native Minister to acquire the Otakhao block between. Norsewood and Takapau for closersettlement. Proclamation on the. block is now expiring, and it is iec.essary to get it proclaimed- for another term, otherwise there is considered to> he a possibility of private individual* acquiring a long lease. It was decided to ask the Government to cut up the* block into suitable areas for dairying, and to petition the Native Minister re—. garding the matter.
