VIOLENCE AND INTIMIDATION
COMPELLED TO JOIN UNION

Master tailors allege that the Union is forcing East End tailors to join,by means of senou, intimidation and threats of vbier.e'j. Prior to the strike, th:-y :,?.:<), 1-00 men out of 10,f,00 wer" r.r:cr>ists, and i:r.iv !W per cent, were unionists.
Replying to a deputation, including a number of manufacturers, who were forced to close owing to intimidation, Sir Reginald Mc'Kcnna promised every assistance. .
