KERSAND'S MINSTRELS.
On Monday night the Mapterton pttblic ,w2H have an opportunity of wftivssinj; an entertainment by K«Aiuvd's ,i'oaeisting of U clever troupe of American negroes. Hie companv are playing to crowded houses m Wellington, where the performance is voted to be the best of its kind that hay yet 'bcem seen 'in tJie Empire City. The performcrr- aip a clever and volatile band of artists, •and many varieties of 'entertainment -are included in their repertoire. Minstrel concerts were at one time a very polil'ar form of amusement, hut of recent years they have not been much in evidence. The Kersands, however, with their clever performance 'have revived public interest in minstrel shows. The company includes several excellent singers, a number of expert musicians, while the cornedinns of itha Company have a very high reputation indeed. The entertainment wall present, something fresh -to, the public", which is in itself a recommendation. Those who visit the Masterton Town H'all on Monday evening wall 'be assured of a very enjoyable night's amuseimeint, as presented by a clever band of artists. 1 .„ . . *,.__
