The mainager c'f the Borough Abittoirs wrote • sking that his private house bo connected by telephone. It was decided to ask the manager to show the necessity to have a. telephone instaHed cut- his .private, rej.:'dence. A households* wrote, applying fcr 'a wash-house and a copper to be placed at hi'S house. It was decided tc leave the matter in the handr.' of the Engineer. The Goveorrraont auditor wrote asking % what authority the jj'crongh Council sold coal.
j The Mr.iyoy explained that the auditor- had been written to, -informing him that the Bdrough Council - er-ed the 'Killing of coal part of the'business of tho Municipal G •■„•'- , works. _} TJie reports the Be-rough Er-gi- ' neer, the manager cf the .Borough Abattoirs, Borough Pound-keeper, a.ci - Librarian, were read and adopted. I In coiwicction with the sotting up of iby-laws to regulate motor e-.i<r a:v.! motor cycle traffic within the Borough, it was decided, on the adviV' of the Bo:<ough Solicitor, to ara.T.c! the clatuse dealing with the •limit.
