Wages have risen, and the peo- | ple v have a greater spending power in coin sequence. Those who .were ahle io .save on low wages, are still better, laible to save now than) formerly, and the worker who is careful is better off n«w than formerly. If people get mcii'e money the majority are 'g'OTng to ,speiiid it, wot save it up far a <rainy day. There is .nothing to 'be gained •in providing for oid age ariS" sickness —the Government are attending to: that'.
