GREAT FUNERAL

THE HERO OF LADYSMITH. ROYALTIES REPRESENTED. (Received Last Niglit, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, June 29. The funeral of the late General Sir George White, V.C., K.C.8., the hero of Ladysmith, was most impressive. His Majesty the King was represented by Lord Roberts, while Queen Alexandra, the Kaiser,, and other Royalties were represented. The pall-bearers included Lord Dundon aid, and Generals Sir lan Hamilton, Hunter. Methuen, Grenfell and Evelyn-Wood. Troops lined the route through which the funeral procession passed. The coffin was covered in beautiful wreaths, including floral tributes from their Majesties the King and Queen, Queen Alexandra, the Kaiser, and "the defenders of Ladysmith."
