COMMONWEALTH INVITATION REFUSED
(NO NEED FOR NAVAL OFFICERS

MELBOURNE, Juno 25
Now Zealand has refused an invitation to send boys to the Commonwealth Naval College, on the ground that tho establishment of a New Ze land navy is not contemplated, and therefore there is no present necessity for tho training of naval officers. Should such an eventuality occur, the Dominion would be glad to co-operato with the Commonwealth.
