EDUCATION OF JUDGES. The General Committee of the Wai■rarapa and East Coast P. and A. Society met at Carterton on Friday, Mr IS. Eagle junr. presiding, and alliout 2-5 members being present. Th.? education of judges in vabious classes, as liraix'tutcd at the Gock-ty's 'lafst show, was dcficussed, and it was decided to ask the cfommiiittee, which drew up the rules, to corridor the reports handed in on the efforts of those who made rose, cf the teaching last yea,r, and also to invrite them to again attemld for the eaane .ptiirpose until the Society cant nominate them as competent to act at agricultural shows. Fifteen new members wora ejected. The Ground Committee'is report on., the contract for the roofing orcir cf the socieity's sheep pens was read to the meeting, and a special committee was- &et up to consider the details; contained in. the report. The Pii'ognamine Committee met in the lalEfceirnoou, and revised the society's programme, making many minor alterations antV additions, which were considered likely to add to the at—, tract'!veneiss cf the show to be held on Octcbe'i:' 23rd and 24th next. Special prizes aire allotted for. the HolsteiiD classes, in view of tlhe Holstoin '•Association's .North Island champion-! ships being awarded to the society this' year. C r ias'SCi3 air,e to b'o included for ex-, hilbits by school children for v.-riting, ■ etc., .from schools in the Wairarapa district.
