MAST2RTON PICTURE COMPANY. A UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT. The advereo .elements did not prevent n good audience from b:ing present at the change cf programme submi t<ted in the Town Hall last evening, by the Mastorton Picture Company. The films submitted were of a (high standard, and well merited the patronage- of the Miasterton. public. The feature of the programme was the production, of Victor Hugo's great masterpiece, "Esmeralda." The picture is one of the latest by the Pathe Frcre Company, and is projected to advantage at the Town Hall. Supporting this maunmotih Attraction are several realistic and elegant dramas, the foremost of which is "Cattle, Gdld and Oil," which discloses mawy features of interest, and also introduces a humorous element. "The Tribe's Penalty" is a drama which also calls for comment. It shows the .devotion of to Indian for a girl for whom he sacrifices, his life. The comic side cf the programme includes 'Troubles of a Bailiff," "Foolshead's Manikin*"'' and "The Beautiful Voice." The whole goes towards making an excellent evening's entertainment, being amusing, instructive and educative. This series will be repeated to-night, and will! be shown, tomorrow evening for the last time. The management announce to their immerous patrons that they have secured the tac'la rights cif "The Four Daredevils.," a thrilling and romantic tragedy drama exposing taS%rials and tribulations of four circus performer's. "Modern Fire •Engines" shows New York's up-to-date fine-fighting appliances. The comedy .and comic section in chides "An Unruly Charge," and "One Way to Win" (A.F. comedy), and "UmIbrellas to Mend" k a Vita picture indeluding our old friend "Bunny." A Splendid picture of the New Zealand Axemen's Carnival ,at Eltham was shown. "His' Firs- Patient" was a capital• comedy. Severail other exceedingly fine pictures complete a Veiry enjoyable, programme.
