BLOCKED BY A SLIP. (By Telegraph — Press A sscciation.) TE KUITT, Last Night. The Main Trunk train was blocked by a slip on the line at Porotarao, south of the tunnel, this morning. The passenger train from T.aumarunui to Auckland was detained for half an hour hp signs of the line line slipping. Eventually, however, the train crawled over the place. Later in the day tho lino slipped four feet. - A large gang of men were put on to make a deviation, but it is anticipated that the work will not be completed before to-morrow night at the earliest. Till then the service is completely blocked, and passengers and mails will have to be transhipped at the slip. The place whore the slip occurred is high papa country, liable to slips. There is mo accommodation, and passengers are having a rather imcomfortable time.
