BOXING TOURNAMENT
AT PAHIATUA. The first tournament in connection with the Bush Boxing Association was held at Paliiatua on Wednesday evening, and proved a great success. Visitors were present from Masterton and all parts of the Wairarapa. The results of' the different five-round bouts were as follow \ — ' Featherweight.—G. Barr (Wairarapa champion) beat A. Quin (Bush). f Welter Weight.—D. Falconer (Bush) v. B. Kelly (Bush) a draw. Featherweight.—Graham (Masterton.) beat Hunt (Bush). Middle Weight,—F. Knapp (Bush) v. P. McNeil (Woodville) a draw. Featherweight.—W. Shields (Dannevirke) beat H. Ireland (Waipawa).
