[To The Editor.] Sir,—We have noticed an item in your paper of the 12th, stating that the roads in the Allfredton l district are in excellent condition at the present time. Being fiarmers in thiaifc district, we beg to contradict thait statement for our road (jMaungatakato) was never in a more neglected state than at present; in flaot, it is dangerous for traffic.
