SYDNEY, June 10
The drought is fairly broken. Practicially every station in ithe State reports fnrai light to heavy falls.
It is still raining, and heaviest in the Blue Mountains.
Up to this morning, ,a.t Katoomba, •nearly .five inches have fallen ; in the wheat areas on the Riverina and elsewhere, up to two inches; "in the droughted pastoral areas in the West from ia half to two and a-half inches had fallen.
The position, iso far a«s rthe wheat crops are concerned, ,is saved. Stock mortality is ; arrested, especially as the fall of rain is accompanied toy warm temperatures. There is great jubilation in the city.
Large crowds are watching the posting of ire/burns.
