ESPERANTO.
In; a number of cent-res in New. Zealand, the international language, "Esperanto," lis being taught in the Tech-, aiical, Schools. The advantage of "Esperanto" is .that it enables the -residemt olf one country (to converse with,' or' communicate; intelligibly with the resident of another, lit is,'in fact, an universal language. Advices from England' and the Oomtinenit show that it is making rapid strides, and it is only a question of time when it will •take its place im t'ho syllabus of ewypublic school. In the .meantime, it would' be "well .if the'managers of the Masterton Technical School were, to consider the possibility of forming a class: in "Eisperanto" in this town.
