AT THE TOWN HALL. The Masterton. Picture Company reopened in the Tovl-n, Hlal last evening to a large and appreciative audience, 'and the pictures shown were an entirely new series, 'representing -eome •really films. That the 'audience was highly delighted with r ihe progratmnMi was evidenced by the •appQause -that greeted each production. •Che star production was, o{ course, <the splendid A.B. dramatic film "A 'Daughter of Australia," which , was •shown for Hie first time to a Mijstes'rtom audience. • The picture, which is '3OOO feet in kngtb, gives a splendid and realistic portrayal of life in the way-backs of Australia. The staging find scenery are magnificent, and th-3 piece from beginning to end (is brim<ful of interest, sensation: and tfxeite*ment, and 'must be regarded as one of the very best* films that have been Uiown.' in Masterton. The management arc to be congratulated on presenting to their patrons'' a cinematographic gem of euch quality. The star' attraction is supported fry a number of dramas, ecrnics and comics, which jin t'neimseilves nreisplenf flrd films. Not the least worthy cf •mention, is the -picture, portraying incidents in the Panama Canal', which gi/es a splendid idea of what an> im•mense undertaking this great work is, *and what it'-must have cost the United States.
