WEDDING
NICOL—JUDD. . A wedding in which considerable in. torest was manifested was celebrated in the Methodist Church at Masterton yesterday afternoon, in the presence of a large number of guests, when Mr William R. Niool, son of .Mr A. Niool, merchant tailor, of this town, was united to Miss Amy L. Judcl, daughter of Mr "\Villiam Judd, an old and respected settler of the district. The bridesmaids were Miss (sister of the bride), and Miss Cor.il Ralph (niece of the bride). Mr Spackman, of Wellington, officiated as best man, and Mr Pointon as groomsman. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. J. Serpell. About one hundred guests were subsequently entertained at breakfast in a large marque at the residence of the bride's parents in Villa Street. The toast of the newly-wedded couple was proposed in a happy speech by the Rev. S. J. Serpell. Mr and Mrs Nicol left for south on their honeymoon trip by the afternoon train.
