FATE OF A RIVhR BOAT CREW ESCAPE. (Received May 29, 11 a.m.) MONTREAL, May 28. The river steamer Mildred missed the locks in the canalised portion of tho Lieuvre River. a<nd went over a d::im backwards. The crow leaped into the water and escaped. There were no passengers. The boilers of the steamer blew up and the craft floated down the river in fragments.
