BATTLfcSHiP NEW ZEALANC TO BE USED WHERE REQUIRED. DOMINIONS SPLENDID PATRIOTISM. (Received Last Night, 9.o'clock.) LONDON, May 21. The Admiralty announce the result of the Government's communications Avit'h New Zealand, Avhich has expressed the Avish that the battleship "New Zealand" should be employed avlim-o her services Avould be most uiseful. As the cruiser defence has been reinforced in the China squadron, ihe Admiralty decided that the "Noav Zealand" should visit the Dominion early in 1913, and then join the first cruiser sqivnlron in the lirst fleet. The Daily Mail says that the retention of "Noav Zealand" in Home watera is the first result- of {lifterman Navy Act. The splendid patf'ofciism of the New Zealand people, and their eagerness to take full part in Imperial defence Avas proved by the. gift of a battleship, and is now shown •by the unselfish offer to meet the new developments in the North Sea.
