CARTERTON.
Messrs G. W. Deller, W. Howard Booth, H. H. Wolters, and J. B. Bairstow have been appointed a deputation from the Taratahi-Cartertoa Racing Club to wait upon the Minister for Internal Affairs with the object, of securing the restitution of the secoad day's racing at their next annual meeting. The Wairarapa and East Coast Pand A. Society has deckled that the poultry and pigeon classes be struck out, and that the. programme committee be recommended to institute * pigeon race from the showground on the second day of the show. A number of iiraennbers of the Carterton Gun Club left yesterday for Wanganui, to take part in a Gun Clubshoot there.
