"A ROYAL DIVORCE."The Town Hall was packed last evening, when the Masterton Picture Company Showed ;for the first itime a isplendid series ,of pictures, including a ir&presentatJon of the famous drama "Tlie Royal Divorce:" TSLSL drama, which is 8000 feet in length, must be locked upon 'as the lb est .effort to date iof the 'Mastertcn Picture Company, iwihidi is to be congratulated in ipla'cing before its ipatvbtis a idraniatic ipioture 'of sucih magnificence 'and splendour. The whole jpiece is shown with a pea-fectaiess as to detail and arrange-' mieut-that 'leaves nothing to be disired. The' picture is realistic an the •extreme, imisSfcing it hard to realise ttihat one is witnessing 'a cinematogiraphio ipMy, "\viliile the costumes, customs and manner's df the actons -all tend to imake the drama a gem of the highest quality. The ovation wh>"Jeh greeted' the piece speaks for itself, and shows that tlie audience highly appreciated the .drama from . first to last;. This •star is supported by a series of exceptionally fine dirairuas and comics, amiongisit which "The Cowboy and the Artist" is- a drama of 'much nierit, while "'Count Ivan and the Waitress" is another drama of great range. Taken altogether, the programme deserves the great est praise, and the 'management are to ihe congratulated ' ou their efforts to place before their patirons only the very best pictures. The programme will ibe dhowm again this evening, and also 1 to-morrow, and oh Thursday the management will have their usual change of programme.
