THREE COACHES WRECKED ELEVEN PERSONS KILLED. (Received May 20, 9 a.m.) PARIS, May 19. Tho mistake of a signalman resulted in a collision on the Marcadet bridge, three coaches of the Pontoise train being -wrecked. Eleven persons were killed, and thirty injured. LATER DETAILS. HOW THE ACCIDENT OCCUR. RED. SAVING FURTHER DISASTER, I (Received Last Night, 10.5 o'clock.) PARIS, May 20. The Pontoise train was crowded with people in evening dress 'going to the Casino, at Enghien, including a wed•ding party, 'wUiich was singing. .The 'bride, whose husband was decapitated, had both her legs cut off. The Creil express, when passing the Pontoise train, suddenly switched on to the other line and demolished three cars. All the passengers were seriously injured. The passengers threatened to lynch the. Creil driver, who ran for his life. Two guards, who were unhurt, ran along the line and prevented another train from crashing into the wreckage. The Northern. Company state t.iat the accident was due to the breaking of the wire connecting the signal station with the switch.
