MISSING DREDGE
FRUITLESS SEARCH. (Received Last Night, 9.30 o'clock.) SYDNEY, May 17. A wireless message from the steamer Eden, which has been searching for the dredgo Manchester, states that so far the search has proved fruit-lees. ANOTHER SEARCH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tt is almost certain that another search will be made for the missirg dredgo Manchester.. The Minister of Marine (Hon. G. Laurenson) told a reporter tonight that ho was hopeful that H.M.S. Encounter, which will leave Auckland for Svdney in a day or two, will go somewhat out of her course to look for the dredge.
