A LABOUR VICTORY.
Tha Labour Party of Wellington have scored antather decisive victory in the ■reii'into of Mr E. 'Jregear. as City Councillor by an. absolute majority of votes. Mr Tregear was formerly Secretary for Labour. He is a man of 'keen intellect, and very high literary attainments, and, apart from his idcin■iificatimi with Labour or any other 'Party, he would be an ornament to a ■civic chamber. It is satisfactory to find men of intelligence and wide sympathies interesting themselves in municipal matters.
