SHIPPING DISPUTE
WHITE SEAMEN. INSUFFICIENT:
STRIKERS SUPPORTED BY WORKERS' FEDERTTON.

Th-o Peninsular dispute is centered on, the s.s Moolifaan, wliicli has a crew of 326, cf. which 144 are Europeans, and only ten are able-bodied seamen.
The Union demanded that forty whdto seamen. bo carried.
The', newspapers state- v that a, "hundred of the crew of tlio Mooltan declined to sign on. The officers state that tilie crew held a meeting in the saloon, and considering the Union's in&truct-Tonstmreason-ablo and hasty, declined to leave the ship. The London District Transport "Workers' Fede.ra.tion'. representing .100,000 workers, hare resolved to support the strikers, and to *end a deputation to Sthie PeniamoiTatr Company today.
