CHARGE OF ASSUALT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) • WELLINGTON, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, Jas. Burcell O'Brien, an old man, was charged with indecently assaulting ■; boy. He was found guilty of common assualt, but sentence was deferred.

A case against James Henry Hope, a middle-aged man, charged with having illegally sold liquor to a police probationer, was not finished when the Court rose for the day.
