THREE BURGLARIES REPORTED
SHOTS FJRED. (Received last night, 9.35 o'clock.) SYDNEY, May 3 Three burglaries were reported to the police to-day. In ono case the occupant of a bouso fired two shots at the intruder, who escaped. ' DARING ENTRY OF AN HOTEL. ' (Received May 3, 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, May :1. A masked man entered a bar of an hotel in-the heart of the city during business hours aand threatened .the barmaids with a revolver. Their screams 6aiised tho intruder to decamp.
