TnAssociation was held to-d«.y. :The report disclosed an improved financial position. The premium income fo the" year amounted to £1.068 lis Bd, ; being/.£35 in excess' of the-prwi.ouv k year.. ....The insurance liability, after; allowing for re-insurance, was £2l L--736, as against £212,424 at the clo«a of the previous year, the total average being £296. The cash reserve amounts to £3902 4s Bd, being £S33 advance on tho previous year. Premium votes in force amount to £10,341. being an increase of £177, making a total i?icrease in the assets of £lOl.l. A satisfactory arrangement was. agreed on with the State office. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Messrs .J. T. Quin, J. Christoffel, S. Forsyth. R. Lamhio, E. Maxwell, and F. W. Wilkie were re-elected directors. Tho 1 question of increasing the rates on dairy factories' risks was referred to the incoming Board. The Chairman claimed the Association rate, a >7.., Bs, -.wcs the lowest in the Dominion.
