VILLAGE COMPLETELY DESTROYED
SEVERAL PERSONS ELECTROCUTED.

CHICAGO, April 22. Thirty-five persons were killed by a totrnaao in Illinois. A North-western Indiana village, named Btish, was 'completely destroyed. Miles of telephone wires were bJowni down, and a farmthouise lifted bodily. Tram trolley lines fell in many cities, and several persons were electrocuted. One party took refuge in a deserted (house, but trees fell, crushing the ist/ructure, and all the party, numbering five, were killed.
