The golden wedding of Mr and Mrs Moss, who have resided in this town for some time, but who were formerly residents of the West Coast of the South Island, was celebrated in Masterton yesterday. was a. large gathering of relatives and friends at the of Mrs Cole Street! and'-thejiged couple* were recipients of felicitations from many parts of the Dominion. The family party 'consisted of Mr and Mrs H. Moss, Greymouth; Mr and Mrs EL Moss, Wellington; the Rev. and Mrs Innes-Jones, Feilding; Mesdames Cox and Innes-Jones, Timaru; Mrs E. Rawson, Westport; and Mr and Mrs Dyer, Masterton. At the meeting of the Fire Policelast evening, a very pleasant duty was performed. On behalf of the Corps, Gaptain J; DixonpresentedConsfeble J. Mr .Vivian Riddiford r/ave away his sister, who was attended bv Miss Ngaire Riddiford (her sister), Miss Sedgwick, sister of the bridegroom, and the Misses Iniwa Bunny- and Judith Purely. A dainty quartette of little girls and pages followed immediately after the bride. These were Jtocelyn Riddiford, niece of the. bride, and Ei-ma Cooper, tlw> ■bride's cousin, and her .nephews?, Stuart and Michael Lindsay.
