GREYTOWN STOCK SALE.
Messrs Dalgetyand Co., Ltd., rsport on their-Grey town sale as follows: : —A good entry of all classes of Stock met with, good.'competition, ■ prices throughout being well-maintained. Following is a list of prices: Small lambs, 5,s lOd; woolly lambs, 9s; forward empty ewes, 10s Id; - 2-tootli wethers, lis, 12s lid to 13s 2d; weaner steers, 255; weaner heifers,, 33s 6d; cows and calves, £-!• lis; 2-year steers, £4 lis to £5 ss. ' The New Zealand Loair and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: — There was a. good entry of both sheep and cattle, and a. fair -attendance of buyers. Competition, was fairly keen, and a'good clearance was made. Forward empty ewes brought 8s to 9s; old ewes, 4s; forward woolly : lambs, 8s 6d to 9s 3d; mother-reared weaners, £2.
