An exceedingly nice lot of pictures j nvill be projected at the change of pro-' gramme at the Foresters' IFall this evening. "The Baby and the Stork" •is a pretty domestic drama. The story turns, upon a- new arrival in a home where the cn'iy child hitherto was a liboyliboy aged 10. "Pull for the Shore, .Bailors," is a. robust istory of the sea ■by Alio Edison Co. "The Freshet" is a. fine Titagraph production. "Dorothy's Family" is a. catchy tittle iplioto play with well managed interest. There ir, a. double hill of moving picture news, the Pathe Gazette furnishing the worlds news and the Ausrtralliui'ClaKobte furni-sliiiig us with up rj;> date mutters in connection with •our coueins- across the "Herring Pond." The scenic sc-ction is a strong one this time, and includes "Picturesque Holland," "The Palace of Versailles" and "Norwegian Fjords." Tlhe .omedfes and comics are well chosen. The Il,vt include:;. "Innocent Burglars," "Jane and the Phonograph," and "Percy at the Theatre."
THE NORWOODS AND VON ARX HUGE COMBINED SHOWS.
lOm Monday next. April 22ud, the Norwoods and Yon Arx Huge Combined Shmvis will appear in the Town Hull. The AVellington Evening Poet says of the perfo'imanee:— A large audience filled the Opera House last evening, and the cxftr.abrdin.avy antics of those who were put in 1a hypnotic fcraaee by Professor Norwood, were (responsible for hearty- laughter. The living (Statuary act was particularly iglood, being, cp it was, a remarkable 'study in human and facial expression, and illustrating the unique powers of Professor Norwood.' By special re- ! quest, the "A'.B.C. sermons" were repeated, and loudly applauded. Much (appreciated a,!so was .the clever conjuring work of YonArx, land theanrusjiig juggling feats of George Murphy. A crowd of people assemblLed outside the ' Talker ies." in Willis Street about noon to-day, to see Miss iPauline Ford hypnotised, and playing itlio piano while in a hypnotic condittion. iA couple of minutes .after Miss Ford sat down to the piano the .ciliain of 1 hypnotic suggestion .was fmislhed, /and she' commenced playing. Professor Norwood explained, .to. her by lauto-suggcstion that she was to continue sleeping /as lie phrased it) till eight o'clock this evening,' when she would come oai. to the stage of the Opera House, ;W.here the "Hypnotic Musical Cfomedy" would be staged. She was aw'akened in the evening before a large audience. The local box plain is at the Dresden. •
