MURDERS HIS WIFE.

(Received Last Night, 8.-10 o'clock.)

•SYDNEY, April 17. A man named William Jones, of Windsor, while sitting at the dinner table, became 'suddenly demented. He rubbed iatoitlie yard, and, returning with an axe, struck" hij wife twice on tile 'head with the sharp edge, splitting the skull. Jones afterwards stated that he could not help doing it. Mrs Jones has since succumbed to her injuries.
