CONFERENCE ARRIVES AT A DEADLOCK.

, The Mayor (Mr J. M. Coradine) and the Town Clerk (Mr J. Archer) ■ attended the meeting of the Masterjtou County Council yesterday afternoon by arrangement, to confer upon the question cf the northern approaches.
