DRAINAGE OF LANSDOWNE.
The time i« not far distant when the people of Lansdowne will be s compelled to undertake a sanitation scheme on a large scale. In view of this contingency, it would be well if the restdents in, that suburb gave .serious consideration to the question of amalgamating with the Borough. To form' a Town Board would be an expensive matter,- and to carry out a drainage scheme as part of a County would be almost impossible. Lansdowne> is, to all intents and - purposes,' arportioa'ctf the Borough of Masterton, and it cannot much longer, escape its cmo. r<k othent will probably adopt some measures to force the positiosi upon.those interested.'
