The competitions will consist of drill,' physical drill, and shooting matches] - The contingent will leave in time to' arrive in Toronto on, or just -before. August 25th next. The Canadian authorities undertake to provide all transport (both sea and rail) and also to provide accommodation. Cadets to be eligible must pass the niedical test and their heights must be from sft Gin to sft 9hi, chest, relaxed, 31 inches to 32 incites, .inflated, 31 inches; age, 16 to 18 years. They must have been efficient cadets from the age of 14, smart at drill, and good shots. Each military district is to supply five senior cadets. Before leaving for Canada, the boys will train in or near Wellington for a momth. During their absence from home they will bo required to devote part of each day to school work. Service with the contingent wjil count as qualifying for service under the Defence Act.
