! A DRUNKEN QUARREL BROTHER CHARGED WITH MURDER. (Received Last Night, 9.25 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, April 9. : A mysterious murder has occurred in the city. -Two brothers, named William and Frederick Parkei;, were proceeding home after -a family reunion. They stopped at a hotel, and afterwards fought outside. William knocked Frederick down and severely kicked him, and then ran away. Frederick rose and went off in an opposite direction. Soon afterwards William staggered back-to the hotel, with a gaping wounfl in his throat. He was taken to the hospital, and in, reply to police questions, he ref used, to isaywho cat , his throat, said that if they ar-; rested his brother, they, would lie taking the wrong-,mau. ,He died! a couple of hours later. . - Frederick meantime had disappeared, but this-, .afternoon surrendered himself to the police. His clothes wer© I bloodstained. He said that he was ) drunk last night, and remembered , fighting, but forgot what followed. He is charged with murder. ,
