At the Police 'Court on Thursday, Humphrey Berkeley, a barrister, well known in Austra'ha and New Zealand, was ordered- to refund £2o paid by an Indian, for. a pas sage to Argentine, and* £5 damages. It wa sstated in evidence that' a number of other Indians had paid similar amounts. Notice cf appear was given.
