UNIVERSAL MILITARY TRAINING
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. , A meeting of the supporters of universal military training, held tonight, was attended by about a dozen persons. ' Rceolutiioius were adopted expressing satisraction with the past success of the scheme, and appreciation cf the work of the Commandant and the Staff, and deprecating any interference with the Act by the Executive, but expressing willingness to consider an alternative form of-pun-ishment, which will a<;t as a practical deterrent.
